Food and eating
Eating on autopilot, or against yourself. Hypnotherapy can help with eating problems and your relationship with food.
Is your relationship with food more complicated than you’d like?
Eating standing up, between meetings. Eating because the day was hard. Eating without noticing, then noticing all at once. For a lot of people under pressure, food stopped being about hunger a long time ago.
That’s usually because it’s answering something else — a need for comfort, a pause, a reward at the end of a day that didn’t offer one.
Hypnotherapy can help with eating problems, working on the link between how you feel and what you reach for, so that eating becomes something you do rather than something that happens to you.
This work asks for your involvement between sessions.
This is not treatment for an eating disorder, and it isn’t a weight-loss programme. If food is at the centre of your life in a way that frightens you, please speak to your GP — that’s the right door, and it’s not this one.
